Paul’s workshop gave participants a hands-on opportunity to experience Online Language Learning from the student’s perspective and also from the Instructional Designer’s view. It also included strategies for preparing students for online learning and the benefits and problems encountered with this mode of flexible delivery.
It was an intensive workshop that had participants enthusiastically occupying every available computer at the fabulous facilities of the SIDE computer room.
Paul told participants of several TEE students enrolled in the Online Indonesian courses and the benefits of giving TEE students the added bonus of pre-exam exposure. It was agreed that the Online courses would be beneficial to these and other secondary school students.
